The festive vibe at SM City Davao made the Dabawenyos even more excited for Kadayawan last week. South by Mouth Food and Music Festival happened from August 14-16 at the Open Parking C of SM City Davao. There were over 20 food exhibitors who participated in this 3-day event. Talented singers from Tawag ng Tanghalan sa Showtime and local bands were there to entertain everyone, too.

Here are some of the food we tried:

Southwing Cafeteria- MY FAVORITE CHICKEN WINGS IN TOWN! Of course, I ordered the Lemon Pepper flavor. My friends had Blazin Hot, BBQ Glazed and Soy Garlic chicken wings.

Classio Mobile Wood Fired Oven- I like their pizzas for sure. I suggest you devour it while it's still hot. I have tried their Pepperoni and All Cheese. They also have Marguerita, Hawaiian, Nacho, BBQ, Meatzilla, Hang Over, and Proscuitto. Their pizzas are sold by box and ranges from Php170-220. If you happen to know which one we had (refer to the photo above), please leave a comment below. Thanks!

Mia's Mango- This dessert is underrated. It is basically a mango version of brownie a la mode and it is deliciously sweet. I love how generous they are with mangoes and ice cream.

Gabriela's Homemade Pastries and Confection- There are a lot of freshly baked pastries and cakes to try from Gabriela's. They gave us Ube, Yema and Chocolate cakes. I brought home the latter and guuuurl, it is so good that I do not want to share it. Haha! We also tried red velvet cupcakes (take note, their cupcakes are a little big).

Friska Vegan Smoothies- Healthy smoothies for everyone to try. Flavors available are Jackfruit Twist, Choco Banana Heaven, Mango Sparks, Strawberry Blitz, and Carrot Mango Island. Which one would you wanna try first?

More food!
