33rd Kadayawan Festival with Grab

"We here at Grab are motivated by a desire to empower Kadayawan festival-goers with mobility," shares Grab Philippines' Country Marketing Head Cindy Toh. "We want to make it easy for them to get from point A to point B within Davao, thereby inspiring them to celebrate Kadayawan the way it's meant to be- to take to the city's cultural spots, immerse in its rich heritage, and explore their roots."

DavaoeƱos celebrated the 33rd Kadayawan Festival last August. Me and the Davao Bloggers were busy going to events that day. We had to cover the Indak-Indak sa Kadayawan and attend to some events/activities.

One of the places we went to was the Grab Booth in Abreeza Ayala Mall. They prepared interactive games such as Grab-A-Pong, #GrabFestivalKadayawan Photo Corner and the Kadang-Kadang mobile game for everyone to enjoy. Special prizes were also given to the winners and participants. It was fun!

First game: Grab-A-Pong. I cannot believe I did not win in this game! Haha. Where did my beer pong skills go?

Second game: #GrabFestivalKadayawan Photo Corner. You just have to simply take a photo of you holding this Grab sign and post it on social media. That easy!

Here's my photo. *haha*

Third game: Kadang-Kadang. It's a mobile game and you have to beat the current high score to win a prize.

Getting to places around Davao has never been faster, safer, and more convenient with the taxi booking app. I am sure the festival-goers during Kadayawan had fun touring around the city with ease. People who had their first Grab taxi ride in Davao were able to enjoy Php50 off their metered fare. All thanks to Grab!
